Modiba is a music production, management, licensing, and music supervision company dedicated to international artists and social responsibility. We pride ourselves on being a hub for the international music community, connecting inspiring artists from all over the globe into a cohesive community of artists and activists.
Founded in 2004 by Eric Herman and Jesse Brenner, Modiba first released the 100% benefit album 'ASAP: the Afrobeat Sudan Aid Project' to critical acclaim, debuting at #1 on the iTunes world music store and has since raised over $140,000 to date to fund humanitarian groups working on the ground in Darfur. Following this successful release, Modiba produced celebrated albums for Vieux Farka Toure, Nation Beat, and Bajah + the Dry Eye Crew.
Today, Modiba manages the careers of Vieux Farka Toure, Bombino and Sierra Leone's Refugee All Stars. The licensing and music supervision division -- Modiba Music Works -- represents hundreds of artists, producers, songwriters, composers and labels from every corner of the globe, specializing in providing music for the film and television industries.
