Featuring top musicians from around the world, all the proceeds raised by ASAP: The Afrobeat Sudan Aid Project -- over $140,000 thus far -- are benefitting the people suffering in the Darfur region of Sudan. Up to 400,000 people have died from dehydration, disease, and at the hands of the Janjaweed -- armed horsemen supported by the government of Sudan.
To accomplish this, Modiba teamed up with TrueMajority, a grassroots education and advocacy group committed to social and political justice, and founded by Ben Cohen of Ben and Jerry's fame.
ASAP can by bought digitally from the iTunes Music Store and in hard copy at the Modiba Store. 100% of all proceeds benefit humanitarian relief effforts in Darfur. Many thanks to all the musicians on ASAP for donating their beautiful music.
